December 23 Fleet Racing.... We had 5 boats.  The Plessner's joined us today.

It was an amazing day but pretty crazy wind with big shifts, lulls and gusts.  The sky was blue, bathing suit weather and the dolphins were on the course.  The starting line was pretty close to the shoal but a great blue heron stood on the shoal all day to remind us not to sail where the birds are standing.  Can't beat 80's at Christmas.  We don't need no stinkin' snow.

Opening Day September 17, 2017

Opening Day was preparation for the Dunedin Cup on Sept. 24

We ended up match racing because of a few mishaps.  Stu and Andy were ready to go after rigging in the intense heat but Nurse Lil wouldn't let Stu sail after all that work.  Bruce and Janet had family to take care of and we are still waiting for the return of Bob and Angie from North country.  Dave will be skippering 'Swamp Thing' for the Dunedin Cup with Bob Morris as crew so they paired up for opening day and matched race against Mark and Lil.  Chris went in her Sunfish and semi ran race committee and took pictures.

We had four races and they split two and two.  It was a good start for the two boats.
