Too Many Casualties to Sail

Maybe we should not have rescheduled our missed races.  Stu got rear-ended on the way to the races damaging his truck, trailer and boat, but at least not himself.  Bruce was still recovering from surgery and Janet and her new crew Paula decided not to sail because winds were predicted over 20.  That left 3 boats.

The group opted not to sail because we only had 3 boats and it was pretty windy.

We had visitors from Wisconsin.
Gene and Carolyn McNurlen from LaCrosse Sailing Club in Wisconsin dropped in for a visit to meet the local Floridian Sailors.

Stu taught Chris the art of splicing line.
Can you tell which one Stu did and which one Chris did?

Next Race:   Saturday, February 27 off Belleair Causeway.  Wayne Hastings from Cape Cod will be our guest sailor on "Squid".
